Dogs x New York Fashion Week

We all know you guys have been hearing loads of information about the infamous New York Fashion Week, but we wanted to bring a twist to the basic stories. New York Fashion Week doesn't always consist of just humans. The fashion industry has also included animals on runways shows and at events as well!

Multiple dogs of well-known owners have made the guest list at various A-list events including actor Orlando Bloom who brought his poodle, Mighty, to the Hugo Boss show. The two matched in camel-colors, complementing Mighty’s fur. Throughout the show, Mighty sat quietly on his dad's lap, seeming hilariously bored. According to Paper Magazine, Mighty was named the "Most bored celebrity at Milan fashion week."

Additionally, Lisa Vanderpump, a real housewives star, restaurant owner, and head of Vanderpump Pets, a dog rescue nonprofit, makes sure her pets do not miss out on anything. She brought Giggy, a Pomeranian, to many fashion shows including Dolce and Gabbana’s Spring 2020 Show in Milan.

Also, Social Media Sensation, The Fat Jew, brought his dog, Toast, a King Charles Mill Survivor puppy, to multiple events at MADE Fashion Week at Milk Studios in 2015. Unfortunately, Toast passed away due to old age. Fortunately, Toast led a very fulfilled life with a huge social media following of 370,000 and appeared on billboards across the nation promoting the benefits of rescue.

Other notable stars who brought their furry friends to fashion events include Cara Delevigne, an actor and model, who brought her dog Leo to Chanel in 2016, Nina Adgal, model, who brought her Puggle to the Zadig and Voltaire show, and lastly Kelly Rutherford, an actor, walked her dachshund to the Zadig and Voltaire show as well.

Dog owners seem to not want their beloved furry friends to miss out on these high fashion events.
