Happy holidays to you and your pups! If you are interested in ways to include your furry friend in Christmas celebrations, then you’ve found the right place. First off, to find the perfect tree, you need a helper, which can be your dog! Since Christmas tree lots are outdoors, the shop surely wouldn’t mind if your friend comes along, but do not forget your leash in case they get carried away! Next, I am pawsitive that your dog would love to join in on the outdoor activities including fetch or frisbee, which the family can join in on as well. (Zoomies do not disappear during the holiday season!) Also, there are many places to find stylish, festive outfits for your dogs (link provided below). The apparel ranges from a Santa Claus dress to Reindeer horns, even matching outfits with your dog are available as well.
Additionally, shelter events are frequent this time of the year, so visit one to donate to or adopt a furry friend in need of your love: add to your family during this family-oriented season. On Sunday, December 26th, Paws and Pages is hosting an event at Annenberg Petspace for all dog lovers to raise money and meet adoptable dogs from shelters.
You can include some presents under the tree for your dog! Although they are not humans, they are family, nonetheless, and deserve to be included in unwrapping gifts. Some present ideas for your furry friend could be treats, toys, leashes, collars, or a new bed.
Next, as you spend time in the kitchen cooking for your loved ones, I encourage you to think of your pet as well. There is a variety of recipes that dogs and humans can both snack on including apple cinnamon cupcakes (link provided below).
As you celebrate the holiday season under the Christmas tree with your family and friends, do not forget to include your furry loved one in the festivities.
